our guest this week is brian mclaren. mclaren has been named one of time magazines most influential evangelicals and he’s been called the “godfather of the emergent church.” he’s an author, speaker, activist, and theologian (but you probably already know all that).

this week he stops by to share some of his story and shares why understanding the narrative is so important in our understanding of The Story.

Big thanks to Brian for sharing his story and to Travis for getting the interview set up.

Brian was on our “dream list” or “bucket list” of guests when we first started the show back in May of 2008 so it’s crazy to actually hear him on the show! ;-)
