lawrence moore

this week we talk with Lawrence Moore, the director of the Windermere Centre, the United Reformed Church’s residential training centre in the English Lake District. the centre exists to help the Church discover its life-in-mission.

moore grew up in Zimbabwe during the mid 1960’s when Zimbabwe was still under British control. he experienced the country’s civil wars first hand as an officer in the Special Branch, often torturing enemies in the name of “saving Christian culture.” hear his story and how black liberation theology made a huge impact in his theology.
