jamie moffett returns to the podcast to talk about his new documentary, return to el salvador, which takes a closer look at u.s. foreign policy and how it has and is affecting the small central american country.

Jamie Moffett is a graduate of Eastern University, where he majored in Communications. He is a co-founder of the non-profit organization The Simple Way, and began Jamie Moffett Media Design and Production three years ago. Since then, he has directed the feature-length documentary The Ordinary Radicals, which has been recognized by eight film festivals, including the Garden State Film Festival, Crossroads Film Festival, ION Film Festival in Dubai, and the Acolade Film Awards. He has also directed the Another World is Possible! DVD series and several music videos for local artists.

this week we talk with writer, director and film maker, roy w. petersen. roy grew up in new york where he got his start in the arts.

roy talks about how he found the obsession to create film and mesh it with his faith (including a stint with the 700 Club). he also talks about his latest film which takes a look at Todd Bently and the Lakeland Revival.

have you seen the new trailer for Brandt’s Russo’s documentary? they’ve settled on a title (adopt a Jesus) and Brandt says production is coming along great. he’s wrapping up a lot of the voice-over work this week.

we can’t wait to see it!

in chatting with Brandt recently (via facebook) he says the entire movie is being self-produced, self-distributed, self-marketed — so they can use all the help they can get to get this message out. we’ll do all we can to help — hope you will too!

share the trailer on your blogs, twitter, facebook, myspace and elsewhere, join the facebook group, tell your friends about it and then see if you can organize a public screening in your area once the movie is out (scheduled for August of this year).
